      Letter from Annie Sullivan to Annie Mange Richter dated May 7, 1918 from Oakland, California states:
      " Joe is doing well and A.D. is working at church and keeps well, is not so homesick as he was". (for Houston, Texas)

      Letter dated September 28, 1921: refers to a flood that "didn't come near Dan's home in San Antonio", Texas.

      Later Letter from Joe (Joseph) in Oakland, California stated his mother died on October 14 or 15th, 1932. Talked about Laura who was ill and could not come to see his mother.
