  • Notes
    • Elizabeth Miethe (known to Helen Harrison as "Tanta Lizzie") emigrated with her older brother (named either Joseph or Francis) and an older sister Josephine sometime in the late 1860s.

She married a Mr. Seibert [Sybertz] and lived on Hillburn St. in Roslindale.

I have so far found no official reference to an Elizabeth Miethe or her brother. I have found a reference to a possible sister, Louise Miethe, who seems to have the same parents as Josephine and married a Mr. Gerhard Blank.

She had several children: Mary (who married a Mr. Donovan), Martha (who died of cancer), Frances (who married a Mr. Mullen), and Oswald. Helen Harrison is not sure where Oswald fitted in. She thinks he was married and lived a short distance from the family home on Hillburn St. in Roslindale. Helen Harrison suggested that all of these children were older than her which would mean they were born before 1910.
